Aurora swept Alma 25-12, 25-14, 25-13 at the Spurlock Center in Franklin, Ind., on September 11, 2026, to push their record to 7-1 on the season.

The Spartans controlled the match from start to finish, posting a .407 team attack percentage against Alma's .034 — a gap that told the story across all three sets. Aurora out-killed Alma 46-21 and held a commanding edge in both aces (8-1) and blocks (7-1). Alma's attack percentage turned negative in the third set (-0.154), reflecting 10 errors on 26 swings as Aurora pulled away comfortably. The Spartans' 41 digs to Alma's 24 also reflected steadier passing throughout the evening.

Izabella Kowalczyk led all players with 16 kills on a .481 clip, adding three aces, two blocks, and six digs for a 20-point performance. Trinity Nelson contributed 20 assists alongside two aces and a kill in limited sets. Katie Brisk anchored the back row with 16 digs to round out a balanced Spartan effort.

In Set 3, Aurora opened on a 8-1 run — capped by back-to-back aces from Kowalczyk — to effectively close out the match early in the final frame.

The win moves Aurora to 7-1 on the season.
