Aurora swept Marian (WI) 25-15, 25-17, 25-19 on Saturday, September 26 at Sadoff Gymnasium in Fond du Lac, Wis., moving to 13-2 overall and 2-0 in NACC play.

The Spartans held a decisive edge at the net, hitting .215 as a team compared to Marian's .063 — a gap driven in part by Aurora's 39 kills against just 25 for the Sabres. Aurora also held advantages in aces (5-3) and digs (57-50). Marian's attack percentage dipped to -.026 in the opening set and never climbed above .121 on the night, keeping the Sabres from sustaining any extended offensive rhythm. Aurora's block total of five, while modest, complemented a service game that generated consistent pressure throughout.

Hazel Cook led all players with 15 kills, adding 11 digs and four blocks for a complete all-around effort. Setter Trinity Nelson orchestrated Aurora's offense with 22 assists and also contributed three service aces. Katelyn Ruse provided 7 kills on a .200 clip, while Katie Brisk anchored the back row with 16 digs. For Marian, Khloe Walling paced the Sabres with 8 kills on an efficient .500 mark, and libero Sofia Rodriguez posted a match-high 20 digs.

In Set 3, Marian opened on a 4-0 run before Aurora responded with a stretch that put the Spartans back in front for good, closing the set on a 6-2 run from 19-17 to seal the match.

The win moves Aurora to 13-2 on the season and 2-0 in NACC conference play.
