Aurora swept Rockford 25-14, 25-10, 25-13 on Wednesday, October 1 at Thornton Gymnasium in Aurora, Illinois, improving to 16-2 overall and 3-0 in NACC play.

Aurora's serve was equally sharp, recording 11 aces to Rockford's 2, and the Spartans held a commanding 8-1 edge in blocks that disrupted Rockford's attack throughout all three sets.

Addyson Timpane led all players with 15 kills on a .379 clip, while Hazel Cook added 11 kills, three aces, and six digs for a well-rounded performance. Payton Schaefer contributed 15 digs and three aces from the back row, and Meredith Milz ran the offense with 36 assists. For Rockford, Kennedy Bryant was the team's top attacker with five kills, and Leila Cooks anchored the defensive effort with 10 digs.

In the first set, Aurora reeled off seven consecutive points to push from a 5-5 tie to a 12-5 lead, effectively settling the set's outcome. Cook delivered three straight aces during that stretch, underscoring the serving pressure Aurora maintained all afternoon.

The win moves Aurora to 16-2 on the season and 3-0 in conference action, while Rockford falls to 3-8 overall.
