Elmhurst swept Marian (WI) 25-21, 25-21, 25-19 at R.A. Faganel Hall in Elmhurst, Ill. on October 10, 2026, improving to 11-6 on the season.

The Bluejays held a decisive edge across the board, out-killing the Sabres 41 to 29 and hitting .287 as a team compared to Marian's .103\. Elmhurst also held advantages in aces (8-5) and blocks (8-3), giving them a cleaner margin in nearly every category. The set-by-set attack table tells a similar story — Elmhurst hit .300 or better in two of three sets, while Marian never eclipsed .118 in any frame.

Katie Hurta contributed eight kills at a .438 percentage, and Samantha Webb added eight kills of her own. Setter Freddie Temple ran the offense with 22 assists. For Marian, Khloe Walling paced the Sabres with nine kills, while libero Sofia Rodriguez logged 15 digs and two aces in a strong all-around showing.

Elmhurst put together a 7-1 run in Set 3 — stretching from 8-8 to 8-14 — fueled by kills and aces from Ella Duffy that helped put the match out of reach.

The loss drops Marian to 4-16 overall and 0-5 in NACC play, while Elmhurst moves to 1-1 in the CCIW.
