After dropping the opening set, Lawrence recovered to defeat Loras 23-25, 25-14, 25-19, 25-18 on Thursday, September 18 at the Lillis Athletic and Wellness Center in Dubuque, Iowa.

Lawrence finished the match with a .338 hitting percentage compared to Loras's .223, a gap that widened considerably after the first set. The Vikings posted a .395 clip in set three and .333 in set four, while Loras hit just .103 and .139 in those respective frames. Lawrence also held a significant edge on the service line, recording eight aces to Loras's three, and out-killed the Duhawks 65 to 46 across four sets.

Audrey Weier led all attackers with 18 kills on a .516 hitting percentage and added two aces, while Bella Van Lannen contributed 16 kills and Emma Nilson chipped in 15 kills on a .750 clip. Hallie Neill ran the Lawrence offense with 27 assists and four aces. For Loras, Cat Meyer and Cydney Tath each recorded 12 kills, and McKenna Carroll posted eight kills to go with a team-high five blocks.

Lawrence's 5-0 run to open set two — which included two service aces from Neill — set the tone for the comeback and proved to be a turning point Lawrence never relinquished.

The win moves Lawrence to 6-4 on the season.
