Loras swept Dominican (IL) 25-8, 25-22, 25-16 on Thursday, September 11 at the Kern Center in Milwaukee, Wis., improving to 2-4 on the season while dropping Dominican to 0-3.

The difference was clearest on the attack side: Loras posted a .363 hitting percentage against Dominican's .054, with the gap at its most pronounced in Set 1, where the Duhawks hit .632 while Dominican registered a -.118 mark. Loras also held a significant edge in aces, 11 to 5, and outscored Dominican 52-29 across the match. Both teams finished level in blocks at three apiece, and digs were relatively even at 31-28.

Cat Meyer led all players with 14 kills and added seven digs, hitting .542 on the night. Kyra Kuehn chipped in seven kills for Loras, while setter Isabel Hart ran the offense with 25 assists and eight digs. For Dominican, Ella Murray and Olivia Pollak each contributed seven kills, with Pollak also collecting six assists and two aces.

Set 1 featured a dominant midset run by Loras, who stretched a 5-2 lead to 18-3 — a 13-1 surge that effectively put the opener out of reach. Cydney Tath contributed four service aces during that stretch, accounting for much of the service pressure.

The win moves Loras to 2-4 on the season.
